A Call to Salvation

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

At Refuge we are concerned about your soul, so it is important to us that we extend salvation to you today if you are not saved.

Steps Toward Salvation:

  • Hear the Gospel – You must come to church to hear the Word of God. “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Rom. 10:17).
  • Believe in Jesus the Son of God – You must believe that Jesus died, was buried, and was resurrected on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:1-3). You must believe that He is the only way to salvation. “Jesus answered, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).
  • Repent of your sins – It means turning back to God and turning away from sin (Acts 20:26). It is a change of mind and lifestyle (Acts 2:38). “Godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death” (2 Corinthians 7:10).
  • Confess Jesus – “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).
  • Be Baptized – Baptism is Jesus’ command: “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned” (Mark 16:16). The purpose of baptism is for the remission of sins” (Acts 2:38).

If you do not know Jesus Christ for yourself but has a desire to have a relationship with Him.  You can, by saying this prayer:

Heavenly Father,
I come to you confessing that I am a sinner. I repent of my sins and ask you to forgive me. I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that you raised Him from the dead. I confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I believe that through His shed blood on Calvary, I have eternal life. Please come into my heart and fill me with your Holy Spirit. Father, lead me and guide me into all truth, that I may see you in peace in the judgment. Father, I pray this in Jesus name, Amen!

If you prayed this prayer in honesty and belief, you are SAVED! Your sins have been forgiven and you are now one in the body of Christ.

We’re glad you decided to give your life to Jesus today.  We, at Refuge look forward to fellowshipping with you and we are expecting great things to happen in your life as a result of your decision for Christ.
